Corporate Sales Systems Engineer - Service Provider

Do you want to be a part of a dynamic team and have immediate impact to world class Sales and Engineering teams?  Benu Networks, an industry leader in Wi-Fi technical innovation, is looking for a talented Senior SE to join their growing Carrier Sales team.  Benu has an immediate position open for a Corporate Sales Systems Engineer for the Americas.  The candidate is responsible for managing and growing a team of Systems Engineers to support carrier sales to both MNO and MSO customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with Sales to set prioritization of resources and SE time.
Identify opportunities to develop and provide training to members of the SE team.
Provide career guidance to members of the Carrier SE team.
Coordinate customer and SE feedback to PLM to aid in the development of products, features, and services.
Identify and develop methods to improve the entire technical sales process from introduction, through proof-of-concept and installation, and into maintenance.
Work with Technical Support to provide assistance in the field when necessary.

Skills & Requirements:

5+ years Carrier SE experience.
Technical sales experience with Carriers, preferably with both MSOs and MNOs.
Proven experience working with a team from early days to maturity to include specializations within the team.
Experience working with 3GPP packet core technologies.
Preference for experience working with Service Provider WiFi.
Willing and able to travel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

VP/Director, Quality Assurance
Location: Billerica, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, generation and execution of test plans that rigorously test all aspects of Benu products, including but not limited to hardware, firmware, software, system performance, features and stress testing.
Hands on manager with primary responsibilities focused on providing guidance and direction to a small, fast paced, hardworking, highly technical team. Mentor team members on best practices and standards used throughout the product development lifecycle.
Works as a project leader researching and analyzing project test requirements including manpower, schedules, equipment and test capabilities.
Develop and track test plan execution that provide accurate summaries of overall product testing status, defect status and project status.
Provides senior leadership in the research, design, and development of tools and automated test systems.
Works with all stages of testing to ensure products have thorough coverage and meet Benu quality standards.
Support the simultaneous testing of multiple product offerings that are in various stages of development and help with task prioritization.
Review and provide feedback related to architecture, product functionality, technical designs and implementations as well as testability of the applications to QA and product development team.
Work closely with the product development team for release planning, resolving issues and mitigating project risks.
Work with customer support organization to help resolve post-release issues.
Represent the testing team at Cross Functional team status and release readiness meetings.

Related Work Experience:

8 years plus in QA test of network hardware and software products.
Experience in development or working with data communications systems is highly desirable.
The individual must have a strong background in QA process and must be able to demonstrate history of delivering high quality products.
5 years+ Experience managing QA teams in different regions (e.g. US, India).
3 Years+ developing and implementing a test automation strategy.
In-depth knowledge enterprise class data center products and the level of quality required of them.
Must be an expert with software development process, test tools, SQA methodologies and approaches required for testing.

Skills & Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, etc.) and O/S (Windows, Linux, etc.)
Experience with configuring IP networking equipment.
Previous experience with automated test tools and/or test scripting or programming languages.
Knowledge of packet regeneration tools.
Experience with Network analyzers.
Excellent planning and communication skills.
Must have expert and proven technical leadership skills and demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule.
Experience with bug tracking and test plan management system.

Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems.
